On triumphant returns, all silk everything, yearning for fall in late July.

Here’s what I’m thinking about too much these days:

  • I pledge to keep self-promotion to a minimum in this space, but I did want to briefly point out that I have a new website devoted to my near-decade of publishing pursuits — and I have at least four new zines slated to publish this year (including two with my beloved open access imagery!) available for pre-order.

  • I would (probably) never shell out over $70 for a scrunchie, but if I did, it would be this plissé silk scrunchie, of course.

  • The very last thing I needed was another Baggu bag, but too bad — this new design by artist Jessica Williams was too good to pass up.

  • I certainly don’t need another silk scarf, but the coloring on this one by Rachel Comey is oh so good.

  • I also don’t need another bag (!) but if I did, I would want this one.

  • This “cleansing oil” smells like heaven and also makes for a great shower. I’ve accidentally been using it on my face — packaging subtlety doesn’t work for me! — and it’s been great there too, lol.

  • If you’re going to purchase a (deeply discounted!) faux pearl tiara, might as well make it one designed by the Queen (Simone Rocha).

  • Loving the look of this cream-to-powder eyeshadow, esp. as I’m thinking about autumn looks.

  • Speaking of autumn looks! I recently grabbed this new lime green Essie nail polish and I’m absolutely obsessed — I think it will go so well with my beloved black dresses (both dramatic and sleek) come fall.

  • These violet candies are so tasty you will finish the tin in a night.

  • Good Night, Day has a new book of knitting patterns! Knitters, be smart and reserve your print copy (with PDF, too, of course) now!

Thanks for reading! Anything speak to you? Got recommendations? Hit reply; I want to hear from you.
