Here’s what I’m thinking about too much these days:
Something you should know about me — if you didn’t already — is that I am obsessed with publishing ventures that reissue “forgotten” works, and I not-so-secretly hope to start my own sporadic outfit myself. Enter my latest find: Mandylion Press, whose visuals are so insanely me I can’t believe I’m not on staff! ;) Mandylion “unearths lost literary gems written by women and weirdos in the (very) long nineteenth century.” Can you stand it? I quickly nabbed their one in-stock book, and plan to buy the other when it’s available again.
I’ve been coveting this sofa for months, unrealistic shipping (price and time) be damned. Apparently, I love art deco furniture from the former Czechoslovakia. This seller also has this stunner. Oh wait, this one, too (mid-century, but still.)
If money were no object, I’d probably opt for this Italian art deco sofa.
Had to talk myself out of immediately purchasing this “medieval electronic instrument” (though it might still happen). Teenage Engineering is just so cool.
This past weekend, I took a bobbin lacemaking course and it was both frustrating and wonderful. Naturally, just today, I purchased some materials so I can continue this journey at home. Immerse yourself in the supplies.
I’m not a ballcap kinda gal, but if I was, I’d get this.
Thanks for reading! Anything speak to you? Got recommendations? Hit reply; I want to hear from you (and may feature your recommendation in an upcoming newsletter!)
